Retailers are looking at new and engaging ways of interacting with the customers.

Retailers understand that for you to give up your time and more essentially your profile and habits, they need to give you an 'experience' in return.
We've just finished working with two high street giants, that completely get this point. They have products, and they want to let you know what these products do, what the differences are between them, the pro's and the con's and ultimately the price tag and where you can get your hands on them. But...they want to be different from everyone else on the market, they want to inject fun and engagement in to this moment.
RFID tags are discreet, highly versatile identifiers which can be concealed in products. Customers can hold, try on and group favourite products together. The product can be silently sending this info back to the RFID application collecting info on how many times this item was picked up, tried on or what it was chosen with. This information can then be compared with actual retail transactions .

RFID technology can also work well to monitor marketing campaigns, for example does a product promotion increase the interest in the product or just bring extra people into the store.  Say goodbye to scratch cards (don't know why but I've always hated the grey gunk that they leave under your nails!)  promotion cards which you bring in to store, that when placed on RFID hot spots reveal your prize on a large Store TV are the way forward - connect this to a social sign in and the marketing departments are all ears.

But if there are retailers out there looking to be at the front of product selection engagement please get in touch because we're  buzzing from the being at the forefront of RFID Interactive delivery in the UK.
